In KL the edge of the pool matters less than the direction it faces and the hour you swim: the view is the skyline, and the weather that closes these decks is the late-afternoon thunderstorm.

The building stands about five minutes on foot from the Bukit Nanas forest reserve, which gives you a green walk between swims in a district otherwise made of towers and traffic.
Ceylonz Suites by MyKey Global covers the same corner of the centre, with a different kind of stay. Its outdoor infinity pool sits beside a garden deck and looks towards the KLCC towers and KL Tower, according to the property's listings. The building is on Persiaran Raja Chulan, two minutes on foot from the Bukit Nanas forest reserve and about twelve minutes on foot from Bukit Bintang station. The suites are units in a residential tower let through MyKey Global, so expect a front desk and services lighter than a full hotel.
Komune Living in Bangsar South is a different stay. Its infinity pool is on Level 29, on the same floor as a gym, a community kitchen, a launderette and a games room, because the building mixes hotel rooms with long-stay co-living residents who share these spaces. That can make the pool busier in the evening than a pure hotel deck. Bangsar South is about eight minutes by taxi from Mid Valley Megamall, so I would choose it for a stay around that side of the city rather than for the KLCC skyline.
Lightning, not cold, is what stops a swim in Kuala Lumpur. MetMalaysia warns that the monsoon transition periods bring heavy rain, strong winds and lightning in short bursts, particularly in the afternoon and early evening over the west and interior of the Peninsula, with flash floods and fallen trees in the same warnings, and its 2026 outlook placed the October transition from 9 October to late in the month. Clear, hot mornings feed those storms, so in March, April and October I swim before lunch and keep the deck at the 51st floor for a dry evening.

If THE FACE were full, I would take Ceylonz Suites, near the same forest reserve, accepting lighter hotel services. Komune Living makes sense for a stay in Bangsar South or near Mid Valley, with a pool shared with long-stay residents. None of the three is a lap pool built for training.
