Pan Pacific Yangon
The one Yangon infinity pool on this list
About this hotel
Unlike the standard rectangular decks found at most five-star towers in this city, the infinity edge here lets the water line disappear against the downtown skyline instead of stopping at a visible pool wall, a genuine point of difference among the eleven properties on this page. The hot tub sits apart from the infinity section, better suited to an evening soak than the main pool, which stays busiest at golden hour when the skyline view is worth the crowd. Two restaurants cover breakfast through dinner without needing to leave the building, and Bogyoke Aung San Market is a flat six-minute walk for an afternoon detour. The smoke-free policy extends poolside, unusual enough in Yangon to mention, and it keeps the deck air genuinely clean during the crowded sunset hour.

Our take
This suits travellers who specifically want an infinity pool and are willing to pay five-star rates for the view rather than settling for a standard outdoor deck. Photographers and golden-hour swimmers get the most out of the layout. Families with young children may find the infinity edge less reassuring than a walled pool, and budget travellers have five cheaper outdoor-pool options on this same list.
- ✓Swim the infinity pool right at sunset, the skyline reflection is the whole point
- ✓Use the hot tub separately in the evening, it is quieter than the main pool
- ✓Walk to Bogyoke Aung San Market in the morning before the afternoon heat peaks
Why we love it
- Infinity-edge pool over the skyline
- Separate hot tub for evenings
- Two in-house restaurants
- Smoke-free property throughout
Why guests love itWe timed the infinity pool for sunset on the second night and it was worth planning around, the water line genuinely blurs into the skyline once the light goes gold. Earlier in the day it gets busy with guests doing the same thing we did. The hot tub afterward was near-empty and properly warm. Service at both restaurants was quick even during a conference weekend. This is a view-first pool, not a lap-swimming one.
