Fuzhou Marriott Hotel Riverside
River-view rooms with golf a short drive away
About this hotel
The Fuzhou Marriott Hotel Riverside offers something genuinely rare in the city's hotel stock: family rooms with a choice of sea, lake or garden views, paired with an indoor pool, jacuzzi and spa floor that keeps the wellness side just as strong as the outlook from the window. A golf course within 3 km adds an activity most of Fuzhou's other pool hotels don't offer, useful for a guest splitting a trip between the water and the fairway. Pool or beach towel service and kids' meals round out a genuinely family-friendly stay, while the riverside setting itself gives the property a calmer character than the business towers further into Cangshan or the Eastern New Town.
- Indoor pool
- River views
- Golf nearby
- Jacuzzi
Our take
This suits a family or couple who want a river view as much as a pool, with golf a short drive away for anyone who plays. It's a strong middle-ground option between the smaller downtown stays and the full-scale wellness towers, offering more amenities than the former without quite the scale of the latter's spa floors. The choice of view categories is worth requesting specifically at booking.
- ✓Request a river or lake-view room specifically at booking, since garden-view rooms cost less for a reason worth knowing about.
- ✓Book a tee time at the nearby golf course in advance if that's part of your plan, given its popularity with hotel guests.
- ✓Use the jacuzzi in the evening after a day on the water or the golf course rather than saving it only for mornings.

Why guests love itFuzhou Marriott Hotel Riverside pairs an indoor pool with a jacuzzi and a spa floor, and its family rooms look out over water or gardens, so it is worth asking for a specific view category when booking. Kids' meals and towel service at the pool help families, and a golf course lies within 3 km for anyone who plays. An 8.6 score from 33 reviews makes it a solid four-star choice by the river.
