Our take
I would book the Hilton Qingdao Golden Beach for a family beach holiday with pools as a backup: guests have direct access to Golden Beach, and the hotel has several pools and a hot tub. A gym, a bar, a restaurant and fine dining fill the rest of the day, and the rooms and suites are refined in a European style. Its 8.6 from 135 reviews is a good score.
- ✓Explore the different pool areas to find the one that best suits your mood, whether for swimming laps or relaxing.
- ✓Take advantage of the direct beach access for morning walks or sunset views, as it's a key feature of the location.
- ✓Consider dining at the hotel's fine dining restaurant for a special evening, especially if you appreciate European-style cuisine.
Why we love it
- Multiple pools for diverse swimming experiences
- Direct access to Golden Beach
- Relaxing hot tub facilities
- Grand European-style architecture
Why guests love itHilton Qingdao Golden Beach backs up its multiple pools and hot tub with direct beach access, putting the sea and the pool deck a few steps apart on Golden Beach itself. The European-style architecture and refined rooms lean into a grander, resort-style stay, and the short drive to Yinshatan adds a nearby outing for guests who want to leave the property. At 8.6 from 135 reviews, it stands out on this list for combining actual beachfront with a genuine multi-pool setup rather than just one indoor pool.
