Our take
I would pick M Social Hotel Suzhou for a five-star stay with an indoor pool that works all year, plus a fitness centre, a restaurant and a bar. Air-conditioned rooms keep the base comfortable. A 9.8 rating comes from only nine reviews, so it is a promising sign rather than a verdict. No spa or hot tub is listed.

Why guests love itM Social Hotel Suzhou runs its indoor pool as a year-round feature within a five-star property, backed by a fitness center, bar, and restaurant rather than a bare-bones setup. Room service and full-service laundry point to a stay built for comfort over a longer visit, and the location keeps Suzhou's sights within easy reach. At 9.8 from a small sample of nine reviews, it is one of the highest-rated properties on this list, worth noting even with limited review volume behind that score.
