Jinjiang Inn Yangzhou Slender West Lake Dongguan Street
Closest to the lake, on the historic street
About this hotel
Named for its position on Dongguan Street, a historic street in Yangzhou's old canal quarter, this Jinjiang Inn sits closer to Slender West Lake than any other hotel in this water-park-area pick, roughly 3 km out. Rooms come air-conditioned with private bathrooms, bathrobes and city views, plus a work desk, TV, soundproofing and free toiletries. Massage and beauty services run through reception alongside the 24-hour front desk, and the property shares the accessibility features found across the Jinjiang Inn network, including wheelchair access. There is no confirmed pool on site, and Hailanggu Water Park sits a further 23 km out, making this a stronger pick for old-town sightseeing than for a water-park day trip.

- On Dongguan Street
- Massage services
- Wheelchair accessible
Our take
This suits travelers prioritising the historic Dongguan Street and Slender West Lake over water-park access, since it is the closest hotel in this group to the lake at roughly 3 km, but among the furthest from Hailanggu at 23 km. There is no pool on site; the massage service is the property's closest thing to a wellness amenity. Guests set on a short water-park run should book Magnolia instead.
- ✓Walk to Dongguan Street and Slender West Lake directly from the hotel rather than booking a taxi, since both sit close by.
- ✓Book elsewhere if a short run to Hailanggu Water Park matters most, since this property is among the furthest at 23 km.
- ✓Ask about soundproofed rooms if arriving late, since street noise on Dongguan Street can carry into ground-floor rooms.
Why we love it
- Closest hotel to Slender West Lake in this pick, at roughly 3 km
- On historic Dongguan Street in the old canal quarter
- Massage and beauty services at reception
- Soundproofed, wheelchair-accessible rooms
Why guests love itWe walked to Slender West Lake from here most mornings, which made this the easiest base for the old town out of anywhere we checked. The room was compact but soundproofed well enough that street noise on Dongguan Street didn't bother us. No pool, and the 23 km to the water park meant we skipped that trip entirely and stuck to the lake and canal streets instead.
