Why guests love itBeing 200 metres from Chiado meant we walked everywhere from Lisboa Pessoa, and came back most evenings to the spa pool, which is adults-only from age 16 so it stayed properly quiet. Dinner at the restaurant with panoramic views over the city was a highlight we didn't expect from a mid-size hotel. The Fernando Pessoa literary theme running through the property gave it real character rather than generic design. Families with younger kids should note the pool's age limit, but for culture-minded couples it's an excellent Chiado base.
