About this hotel

The private pool here is the quieter alternative to Haeundae Beach itself, five minutes' walk from the sand but self-contained enough that guests use it as a wind-down rather than a main event. Rooms are set up like small apartments, with a kitchenette and washing machine that make a multi-night stay easier than a standard hotel room would, plus a balcony and terrace that catch the coastal views the location promises. Reception covers English, Japanese and Korean, and private check-in and check-out cut down on the usual lobby wait after a beach day. Haeundae Station is 300 metres away for anyone connecting into the rest of Busan by subway, and Dalmaji Hill is close enough for a short evening walk once the private pool has been used for the day. Paid on-site parking is available for anyone arriving by car.

Our take

This works for travellers who want the pool as a private retreat rather than a social one, since it's smaller and quieter than a resort pool and pairs naturally with the kitchenette for longer stays. Families doing self-catering for a few days will get the most from the apartment-style layout. Anyone wanting an active pool bar scene should book the L7 Haeundae instead.

  • Use the kitchenette for breakfast, it saves a walk out before the pool and beach fill up
  • Book the private pool time in the quieter morning slot if the property offers a schedule
  • Confirm check-in language in advance, staff rotate between English, Japanese and Korean shifts

Why we love it

  • Private pool area for guests
  • Kitchenette in every room
  • Five minutes from Haeundae Beach
  • Private check-in and check-out
Why guests love it

The private pool was the deciding factor after a long flight, somewhere to cool off without the noise of a crowded resort pool. The kitchenette meant we could put together breakfast before walking the five minutes to Haeundae Beach, which kept mornings simple with two kids. The washing machine turned out to be the unexpected win by day three, one less thing to pack for.
