Hotels in Antalya

Antalya sits on Turkey's southwestern coast, where the Taurus Mountains drop almost straight into the Mediterranean. The old town of Kaleici, ringed by Byzantine walls and centred on a small Roman-era harbour, is the historic core; Hadrian's Gate marks its main entrance. Two beach identities frame the city: the pebble cliffs of Konyaalti to the west and the long sand strip of Lara to the east, where most of the large all-inclusive resorts are built. Waterfalls at Duden and Kursunlu, plus the ruins at Perge, Aspendos and Termessos, sit within day-trip range. Antalya airport (AYT) is roughly 13 km from the centre, and the swimming season generally runs from April through November.
